COVID-19 Citizen Science

Changes to the COVID-19 Citizen Science study

The research team at UCSF continues to adapt the COVID-19 Citizen Science study to the current state of the pandemic. In the United States, third doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are available to people who are immunocompromised. Similarly, Pfizer booster shots are available in the United States for people over 65 years old, or those who work in high risk settings. Study participants who have previously reported being fully vaccinated can be on the lookout for a weekly survey about getting a booster shot.  Researchers are interested in when participants get a booster shot, how side effects compare to earlier doses, and how it affects COVID-19 risk and severity.
